I'm Lukáš Kocan — a landscape photographer based in Central Europe, drawn to places where civilization fades and the raw world begins. Mountains, coastlines, high deserts: the geography of silence.

My work is rooted in patience. I return to locations repeatedly, learning their light across seasons, waiting for the frame that couldn't have existed a minute earlier or later.

Trained initially as a painter, I approach photography with a painter's eye — looking for planes of color, tonal relationships, and the weight of empty space.
